Paswan’s bro praises Nitish, hours later says his remarks ‘twisted’ | India News
NEW DELHI: Hours after hailing JD(U) chief and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Hajipur MP and senior LJP leader Pashupati Paras on Friday backtracked saying his remarks were twisted as the development witnessed in Bihar was due to NDA at the Centre and not because of the CM. “My remarks were twisted. Nitish Kumar has done nothing for Bihar,” he said.
In an interview to a TV channel earlier in the day, late Ram Vilas Paswan’s younger brother, Paras, in a purported video, was seen praising Nitish Kumar’s work and his focus on development. This surfaced barely hours after the BJP leadership attacked LJP chief Chirag Paswan for trying to “spread confusion” and mislead voters by taking names of senior party functionaries.
