Nokia TA-1258 smartphone receives certification, expected to launch soon

NEW DELHI: HMD Global the company which holds the license to manufacture Nokia branded smartphones is expected to launch the latest Nokia branded budget smartphone soon. The smartphone with model number TA-1258 has received TENNA certification.
The certification has revealed some of the specifications of the smartphone and it is expected that the company might launch the device sometime next month.
As per the listing, the Nokia smartphone will come in two colour options — Nordic Blue and Gold Sand. The smartphone is expected to come with a 5.99-inch HD+ display with a 720×1440 pixel resolution. The smartphone is said to be powered by an octa-core processor.
The upcoming Nokia smartphone is expected to pack 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage up to 400GB by adding a microSD card. The device runs Android 10 operating system and comes with a triple card slot. This means users will be able to use two SIM cards and one microSD card at the same time.
The smartphone is expected to sport a single-lens 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for selfies. The device is said to come equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and backed by a 3,000 mAh battery.
Meanwhile, another online report revealed that Nokia in partnership with Flipkart is gearing up to launch an Android TV Box in the Indian market. It is expected that the company might streaming device sometime next month.
The upcoming media streaming device will be powered by Android 9.0 operating system and will offer an output of 1080p Full HD resolution. The device is expected to come with a voice-controlled remote with Google Assistant support. There will be support for Chromecast as well and will also allow users to cast their mobile phone screens onto their TV.
