Samsung Galaxy Buds live: Samsung’s latest Apple AirPod Pro rival are easy to repair, claims report

Samsung’s latest audio accessory and rival to the popular Apple AirPods Pro rival, Galaxy Buds Live, have undergone a teardown and reportedly turned out to be an easily repairable device.
As per a report by iFixit, these uniquely shaped truly wireless headphones from the South Korean tech giant have a score of 8 out of 10 on their repairability scale “for their simple opening procedure, impressively modular construction and easily replaceable batteries.”
In its video, iFixit also showed that the codename of the Galaxy Buds Live — beans — was written on each earbud. Before they were launched and their official name was confirmed, they were being called beans due to their shape and resemblance to actual beans.
Other things that iFixit found in its report is that the Galaxy Buds Live earbuds house a battery which is pretty standard in size, however, getting difficult to find online. The case’s battery is 1.81W, which is said to be “substantially bigger than” the batteries that were used in wireless charging cases of the Galaxy Buds and Buds Plus.

Galaxy Buds Live earbuds feature an intuitive touch-based UI for gesture control as well as Bixby voice activation, using which people can navigate music, open apps, and send messages hands-free.
As per the company, the Galaxy Buds Live earbuds are said to offer up to 6 hours of playback, and with the charging case, users can get an additional 15 hours over multiple charges.
