Politics intensifies as BJP, RPI supports actress

Actress Kangana Ranaut has told Congress President Sonia Gandhi that she should intervene in the Maharashtra government’s dealings with her. Ranaut said that history will decide on the “silence and indifference” of Sonia Gandhi.

Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis attacked Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray over BMC’s action on Kangana’s house. NCP chief Sharad Pawar has justified BMC action. He also said that the state government has no role in BMC action and that the BMC has followed its rules and regulations.
